Baseboards to blinds

Deep Clean

Hands-on wiping instead of dusters: baseboards, door frames, cabinet fronts, blinds and walls spot cleaned. Where most new clients start.

What three months without a professional clean leaves behind

A home that has gone a season without a professional visit does not look dirty from the couch. The buildup sits where a duster never reaches: along the baseboards, on the top edge of every door frame, in the slats of the blinds. Pet hair packs into the corners. Kitchen and bathroom surfaces carry a film that a quick wipe moves around instead of lifting.

Green Flamingo's own wording for the difference: "Unlike a standard clean that may rely on dusters for surface touch-ups, our deep clean involves detailed, hands-on wiping of surfaces to remove layers of dust, grime, and buildup." That is the whole job. Hands, cloths and time spent on the edges.

Green Flamingo's advice for anyone in Saint Hedwig or La Vernia who has not had a professional clean in the past three months is to start here, then move to a standard clean once the layers are gone.

How the deep clean runs, room by room

Every room gets the full standard list first: dusting, cobwebs, switches and knobs, counters and sinks, toilets and showers, floors swept, vacuumed and mopped, garbage emptied. The deep clean then adds its own extras to the checklist the client is handed for that room.

In the bathrooms: detail baseboards, detail door frames, spot clean walls (within reason), clean all fronts of cabinets and drawers, and wipe down blinds. In the kitchen: detail baseboards and door frames, wipe all outsides of appliances, and wipe down blinds. In bedrooms and common areas: detail baseboards and door frames, spot clean walls, and wipe blinds.

Each room is closed out against its own list, and Cami's crew signs it off before moving to the next.

After the deep clean, and who it suits

Green Flamingo gives five reasons clients book it: it eliminates allergens and bacteria, it restores a fresh, like-new feel, it suits first-time or occasional cleanings, it is great for high-traffic or busy homes, and it is ideal before hosting or special occasions.

Karen Turbidy left a five-star Google review after hers: "This was my first cleaning in three years. The house needed a deep clean and these ladies did a great job!!" Renae Brotherton, also on Google with five stars, wrote: "Green flamingo came for a deep clean, they did an awesome job!"

Once the home is reset, most clients move to a standard recurring clean, which holds it there and carries a discount for regular service. Deep cleans cost more than a standard clean, and the booking calculator gives the exact price for your home.
